How to Apply for a new KRA PIN.

KRA pin also known as Kenya Revenue Identification Pin is a unique number issue by the government of Kenya symbolizing that you are a tax payer. The pin is a must to all Kenyans who have attained 18 year and above. This pin is very important because it is required to perform any government transaction among other uses. 

This is how you register for your KRA PIN.

 

  1. Visit itax.kra.go.ke
  2. Select "New PIN Registration"
  3. Select "Non-Individual" and "Online Form" as your mode of registration.
  4. Fill in your basic information.
  5. Select suitable tax obligation by checking the relevant boxes.
  6. Enter details of company directors or partners.
  7. Fill in agent details if you have one.
  8. Enter result of the arithmetic sum provided and submit.
